It's been more than year since I last posted OOTDs here... It's not that I decided to go back to the jeans and shirt 5th grade me (still wearing short skirts + sneakers!) but more on the side that I did not bring my tripod with me to Manila. That and I suck at posing in front of other people. /A lost cause in modelling

I thought the top would look bad on me so I kind of regret buying only one color. I should've gotten the yellow and mint green one too. I loved how striking the purple was - so different from my usual monochromes - but my friend was like, "You look like an eggplant" :O

Hello from the province! (Hence the change of background)

I've been home for about 5 days now and my family are fussing over how pale and skinny I am. They're all set on fattening me up during my 3 months vacation. Yes! 3 long months \m/ My university's one of the first unis in Philippines to move their school year. 

So far, here are my plans for summer:

☐ Learn a new language

☐ Learn how to drive

☐ Re-learn piano

☐ Attend SarBay Fest

☐  Muster the courage to wear a bikini (YES! I finally bought one... err... two)

☐ Attend MVBYF

☐ Go to football camp

Final grades for the first and second semester came out this saturday and I didn't fail calculus!!! *does the happy dance* My grades were on the dot with the cut off. Not satisfactory for me but still thank God!

I think by the end of this summer, I'd have already crossed off 3-5 items in my 'What I want to achieve' this 2014 list :)

School has been tough (it has always been). I'm currently on the I-hate-myself phase right now because I am so so so disappointed with my prelims results and I totally blame myself. I'm not the type of person who cries over spilled milk so I got on hating myself for not getting good results that's why I'm quite motivated to study. 

It worries my parents and friends when it comes to my new-found dedication tho. I have been having unusual waking and sleeping hours. I sleep from 1pm onwards and I'm awake from 1am onwards. Now, I have to lessen my sleeping time thanks a lot to documentary editing, mind-fuck research papers and reporting to the point that I skip dinner.

Hopefully, I'll be able to achieve what I want so I can enjoy summer with no regrets whatsoever.

My university got the privilege of selling Ballet Manila tickets for Tatlong Kuwento ni Lola Basyang for only P250 with free ride all you can at Star City. I don’t know if it’s only my uni but what a deal! Ride all you can at Star City usually costs around P400+. The opportunity was too good to pass up. That and we get bonus points in our Humanities subject for watching.

Maybe it’s just me... but I didn’t really liked the ballet. It was normal. Okay. So I think it might JUST be me after all since all of my classmates are raving about how good it is. Maybe I’m just not too appreciative when it comes to dances because I have two left feet. So yeah, I’m probably hatin’ loljk. Either that or I’m repulsed by seeing men in leotards.

I expected to see Lisa Macuja-Elizalde herself perform or even at least join the performers bow down (or maybe she did. I just wasn’t paying attention) at the end but no such luck happened :( I got to see her daughter, Missy Macuja-Elizalde dance though. She looked like Chachi Gonzales or Coleen Garcia. Sooo fair! I read she’s only 15/16? I’m not too sure, but if she were then I’d be O.o

Anyways, ’twas raining hard that day and I was with a fever. The odds were against me... us, I mean. Limited rides were opened at Star City. The good ones were closed :(

So anyways, I might be watching another ballet performance at Aliw Theater this December if the schedule permits. I really want to see Lisa Macuja-Elizalde dance. I want to see what makes her stand out from the others - what made her prima ballerina.

Our report cards for the first grading were distributed today. I wasn't able to attend the recognition because I had my entrance exams for MSU (I hope I pass!) but my mom got my card. So far, she hasn't come home yet so I still don't know my results. I'm too much of a chicken to go ask my classmates what rank I got *fingers crossed* 

You know that feeling that pushes you to the edge? I'm getting that right now. A LOT of that.

I'm still suffering from acne and school's not helping at all. I have to travel back and forth... exposing my acne-infested face to a whole lot more dust and what-nots. Sigh. I hope my face clears up soon. BUT I think my face got a lot better ever since I went to my dermatologist. I've also stopped wearing make-up and tried to make it a daily habit to pin my bangs up.

A very rare occasion happened yesterday: We went shopping!

The best thing about it this time was: she let me buy whatever I wanted despite the price.

One of my best buys for that day was my new Yadu tattered wallet that I bought for P450. Quite costly if you ask me but I really think it's worth it.

My mom objected at first but eventually gave in when she saw my previous HK wallet mouthing 'Hi' to her ;)
