December 20, 2013 - Paskuhan ’13 commences.
I don’t think I’ll be describing my feelings in this blog post because I’m writing an article about this for Muy Leal. I’ll just probably post it here when it gets published :) So yeah, just enjoy the pictures.
I love how my uni looks like Hogwarts + I feel like I’ve been transported to Spain
It was drizzling so me and my friend Emily (the one in mustard) bought cartons and plastic cover (though we ended up buying trash bags since it’s cheaper) for the mass supposedly. Just as we were returning, it rained real hard so we had to camp out at the gym and look like homeless hobos with the haggard face and messed up hairs and all.
I love the Yellow Jackets! ...or YJ as people from my uni would call them. They’re just so amazing and damn dedicated at what they do. When I first saw them doing their thing, I thought they were our uni’s pep squad.
There were performances by a lot of local artists and bands. I extremely liked Rico Blanco’s performance. He came with a costume and choreo. Sure Paskuhan 2013 might just be another college party out there but can’t performers at least show some enthusiasm (clothes-wise)?
Oh, and I also liked what Chito Miranda from Parokya ni Edgar said:
"Lahat ng lalaki, gago. Pero ang gagong lalaki, kung nakahanap ng babaeng mamahalin nya talaga ng sobra, magbabago't magbabago yan para sa kanya."
And for those like me who wanted to see the performances up close, kudos to our footwears!
